Not the End of the Story

They were eleven friends, and they blew the friendship. Jesus poured three years into them, taught them great truths—let them into his very heart . But when popular opinion turned, when crowds grew angry, and the authorities put Jesus to death . . . where were the fast friends? Scattered. Lying low.
Still, with this flawed few—this band of bungling brothers—the Son of God planted his church.
