Normajean Honsberger was a Salvation Army captain. Only forty years old, she lost her eight-year battle with cancer. She called it her promotion to heaven.
For Normajean, each day brought a struggle. And each day brought a choice—would she focus on how she might DIE? Or how she would LIVE? She wrote a book about her daily decision. She titled it: Will You Choose Joy? In the face of true suffering, Normajean learned that with faith, “pain and joy can live side by side.”
